Illiterati Cafe, Mcleodganj After coming across Digital Nomadism , I recently went to some places in India  (mentioned  here )  to explore the feasibility of pursuing it there.    One of them was the headquarters of Tibetan Government-In-Exile in India. Known for a large number of resident tibetans, it's sometimes referred to as 'Little Lhasa'.  I must say it was a good decision to include Mcleodganj in my trip.  The place offers a good 3g connectivity for many providers, cafes that provide decent wifi speed and some cheap places to stay. As an effort to make this information easily accessible to others, I have compiled below a list of cafes/restaurants in Mcleod where you can take your laptop.  I have rated each place with some parameters which I think would make it easy for someone to decide if the place suits their needs. Trek to Triund: My story and a complete guide

Trek to Triund actually should be the first thing to do when you are in Mcleodganj, even if you are not into trekking. It was my first solo trek and it could not have been better.  Life is really about the choices that you make every day. The night before I planned to go to this trek, it started raining heavily in Mcleodganj. I had planned to leave the following morning at 7 am, but it rained continuously from 9pm to 3am. Disheartened, I had cancelled the plan before going to sleep, keeping in mind the weather. But the next morning when my eyes opened at 9 am, and at that very moment, I don't what happened but I knew I had to go to this trek. I suddenly jumped out of the bed, got ready and packed my bag in the next 20 mins, and left my hotel after grabbing a toast from the hotel breakfast table.
